Affection and respect for teachers, whom some have called “engineers of human souls”.

Officially created in 1985 to improve teachers’ social status and call on the entire nation to respect teachers and to seek knowledge.

This Event is celebrated in 27 country around the world.

Independance Day: Tajikistan and North Korea

Today, two countries celebrate their Natitional Day.The first one is Tajikistan.

This country is located in Central Asia. They became independant from USSR on September 9th, 1991.

The second country is also an Asian one.

North Korea celebrate its Republic Day also on this day.

International Literacy Day - September 8th

September 8 was proclaimed the International Literacy Day by UNESCO in November 17, 1965.

It was first celebrated on 1966. Its aim is to highlight the importance of literacy to individuals, communities and societies.

Celebrations are taking place around the world.

Independance Day: Macedonia and Andorra

Today, two countries celebrate their Natitional Day.

The first one is The Republic of Macedonia.

This country is located in southeastern Europe. Macedonia became independant in 1991, before it was part of Yugoslavia.

The second country is also an european one.
Andorra is one of the smallest country in the world rank 193 on 232.

Brazil Independance Day September 7th

In our world tour of independance day, we continue with the next country, “Brazil”.

This is the fifth largest nation in the world, and is located in South America.

Did you know that Brasilia was built to be Brazil’s new capital city ?

It took 41 months to build it, from 1956 to April 21, 1960 when it was officially inaugurated.

Brazil achieved its independence from Portugal on September 7, 1822.

Swaziland Independance Day, September 6th
