Affection and respect for teachers, whom some have called “engineers of human souls”.

Officially created in 1985 to improve teachers’ social status and call on the entire nation to respect teachers and to seek knowledge.

This Event is celebrated in 27 country around the world.

International Literacy Day - September 8th

September 8 was proclaimed the International Literacy Day by UNESCO in November 17, 1965.

It was first celebrated on 1966. Its aim is to highlight the importance of literacy to individuals, communities and societies.

Celebrations are taking place around the world.
